Pewaukee Library

Memory Cafe will be held from 10:30 a.m. to noon Friday, May 6, for those experiencing early stage dementia, mild memory loss or cognitive impairment. Come with a family member or care partner. RSVP to the Alzheimer's Association at (800) 272-3900.

Tuesday Movie at 1 p.m. Tuesday, May 3, is about a playwright who develops an unlikely friendship with a homeless woman who lives in a van in his driveway.

Park and rec

Register for summer youth sport programs: Little Pirates baseball (ages 4-6), Diamond Pirates baseball (ages 4-7), Team Tennis program (ages 5-14) and Youth Tennis lessons (ages 6 and older).

Boater Safety for ages 11 and older will be held from 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesdays, May 9-18, at Pewaukee Village Hall, 235 Hickory St. Students must register on the Department of Natural Resources website and bring the number and $10 to the first class. Children's Book Swap

The fifth annual community book swap will be held from 3:30 to 5 p.m. Thursday, May 12, at the Pewaukee Library, 210 Main St. This free event also features snacks and crafts.

Donate gently used children's books from noon to 4 p.m. Tuesday, May 10, and receive a ticket to exchange or "buy" a book.

Volleyball

Fall teams are forming for Pewaukee Volleyball Club for girls and boys who attend or live within the Pewaukee School District. Assessments will be given Sunday, May 1, and Tuesday, May 3, for those entering grades four through seven in the fall of 2016. Learn to water ski

Learn the fundamentals of water skiing from 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday, June 25, and from 8 a.m. to noon Saturday, July 16. The Pewaukee Lake Water Ski Club will coach and provide all the equipment. Taste of the Chamber

Trivia night

Queen of Apostles Church will hold a trivia night at 7 p.m. Saturday, May 14, in the church hall, N35 W23360 Capitol Drive. The price is $10, with up to eight at a table. Galilee Lutheran Church

Galilee church will host a potluck dinner at 6 p.m. Saturday, April 30, followed by bunco. The community is invited to bring a dish to pass; invite a friend or a neighbor.

"Put Pain in Its Place," a program developed by the Arthritis Foundation, will be offered along with a few simple exercises at 9:15 a.m. Thursday, May 5.
