BRIEF: Alzheimer's legal, financial issues to be discussed

July 28--A free Alzheimer's Association presentation will be offered on legal and financial issues.
After receiving a diagnosis of Alzheimer's disease or another dementia, the cost of future care may not immediately come to mind. Legal planning is especially vital for a person diagnosed with Alzheimer's or another form of dementia, according to presentation organizers.
The presentation will be offered from 10 a.m. to noonAug. 8 by attorney Craig Ploss at SCAN Health and Wellness, 6633 Telephone Road in Ventura.
