Disability Linkage Line now Disability Hub MN
Faribault Daily News - 9/3/2017
Disability Linkage Line is now Disability Hub MN on the phone and, for the first time, online at disabilityhubmn.org.
Disability Hub MN is a free statewide resource network that helps people with disabilities solve problems, navigate the service system and plan for the future. Since launched by the Minnesota Department of Human Services in 2006, Disability Linkage Line has evolved to offer more tools and services so people with disabilities can get up-to-date information about community resources, including work, housing and benefits. More than 30,000 people used the service in 2016.
"Disability Hub MN is intended to be a true hub of support for people with disabilities to make it easier for them to live their best life, their way," said DHS Assistant Commissioner Claire Wilson.
With the new name comes:
A stronger focus on meeting individual needs
Easier discovery of resources, options and tools
More opportunities for communication and engagement.
Though the name has changed, the phone number remains the same: 1-866-333-2466. In addition, the new Disability Hub MN website has a chat feature for connecting with options counselors.
The Disability Hub MN website provides tools and information on health coverage, benefits and employment, including how to work and maintain public benefits. Additional resources for professionals are also available.

Disability Hub MN services are provided statewide by the Metropolitan and Southeastern Minnesota Centers for Independent Living. Disability Hub MN operates as part of the MinnesotaHelp Network, which includes SeniorLinkAge Line, 1-800-3333-2433; Veterans Linkage Line, 1-888-LinkVet; and the online resource database, MinnesotaHelp.info.
