Herald & Review - 9/12/2017
Sept. 11--Decatur'sKnights of Columbus chapter is planning a fundraiser on Friday and Saturday to benefit several organizations that offer services to people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
Volunteers will be stationed at Circle K, Walmart and County Market locations throughout Decatur and Forsyth to collect donations from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m. as part of the "Tootsie Roll Drive."
The event gets its name because the organization distributes candy in exchange for donations.
Proceeds benefit Opportunity House, RAMP and Camp Maple Leaf based in DeKalb County.
