"Oklahoma!"

This classic Rodgers and Hammerstein musical is celebrating its 75th anniversary this year. Set in the Oklahoma territory in the early 1900s, the play tells the story of Curly, a cowboy who has trouble admitting his feelings to Laurey, as she does to him, because of their stubbornness. Jud, the hired hand at Laurey's farm, tries to come between them. The show hits upon universal themes of wanting to settle down and also to have a place to breathe free. Continues Saturday and Sunday. Visit radford.edu/theatre to purchase tickets.

When: 7:30 p.m.

Where: Pridemore Playhouse, 801 E. Main St., Radford

Cost: $10
