Autism Center receives $50,000 grant AllOne Foundation & Charities awards Misericordia University Autism Center with a $50,000 grant

DALLAS TWP. — The AllOne Foundation & Charities of Wilkes-Barre awarded a $50,000 grant to Misericordia University’s Autism Center to support of its educational programming and research.

The College of Health Sciences and Education at Misericordia University established the Autism Center in 2015 as a community resource for clinicians, practitioners, caregivers and students majoring in the health and medical sciences fields.

The Autism Center is home to the Summer Sensory Social Camp, Autism Speaks U, Autism Lifelong Learning Program and Distinguished Speaker Series. The Center is located in John J. Passan Hall and neighboring building at 50 Lake St. Visitmisericordia.edu/autism for information.
