Bristol Herald Courier - 7/19/2017

KINGSPORT, Tenn. - Phoebe Hunt & The Gatherers will perform Aug. 12 at the High Voltage Performance and Event Venue to benefit Appalachian Sustainable Development.

Since 1995, ASD has served 15 counties in Northeast Tennessee and Southwest Virginia. The organization works to transition Appalachia into a more resilient economy and a healthier population by exploring new economic opportunities, supporting local agriculture and connecting people with healthy food, the release states.

A limited number of tickets are available for $75 per person. The ticket includes an indoor cocktail reception featuring hors d'oeuvres prepared with local, in-season ingredients and an open wine and beer bar. The event will be held at 5:30 p.m. at High Voltage, 101 Cherokee St., Kingsport.
