Autism support group: Living in the Puzzle, a support group for families of autistic children, meets 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. the third Tuesday of each month at Motion Church, 110 Triple Creek Circle, Suite 30, in Longview. Grief support group: HeartsWay Hospice offers a grief support group at 10 a.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays at the HeartsWay Hospice office, 4351 McCann Road in Longview. This group focuses on the emotions that go along with losing a loved one. For information, call (903) 295-1680.

Parkinson's support group: The Longview Parkinson's Support Group meets at 5:30 p.m. the fourth Thursday of each month in the Friendship Room of Buckner Westminster Place, 2201 Horseshoe Lane in Longview. Memory Links Cafe: Memory Links Cafe, a discussion for people with Alzheimer's disease or other dementia-type diseases and their families and caregivers, meets at 10 a.m. the second Friday of each month at the Good Shepherd Institute for Healthy Living. Breast cancer support group: The Hope Breast Cancer Support Group of Longview meets from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. the second Tuesday of each month at the Center for Breast Care of Longview Regional Medical Center, 709 Hollybrook Drive, Suite 5604. For information, call (903) 235-2611.

Drug addiction help: The Living Recovery Group of Narcotics Anonymous meets at 12:15 p.m. and 8 p.m. daily at 3713 W. Marshall Ave. There also is a 10 a.m. Saturday meeting for women. The group offers a weekly meeting for family members of addicts, Nar-Anon, at 6:30 p.m. Monday at 3713 W. Marshall Ave. For information, call (903) 234-5449. New Attitudes Narcotics Anonymous meets at 7 nightly at Inspiration House, 734 S. Green St.

Heart Screenings: Longview Regional Medical Center will offer free heart screenings to youth athletes ages 14 to 18 from 8 a.m. to noonFeb. 10 at the hospital, 2901 N. Fourth St. in Longview. The screening includes a 12-lead electrocardiogram and a limited 2D echocardiogram. There is no charge to attend but preregistration is requested. Registration is open at www.champhearts.org. Quickcare Reopening: Quickcare, a walk-in clinic offered by Regional Clinics, will celebrate its grand reopening with a free community event from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.Feb. 15. The celebration will feature free cholesterol tests, blood pressure checks and glucose screenings as well as light snacks, giveaways and a raffle. Quickcare is located at 2021 W. Loop 281 in Longview.

Survive Thrive Symposium: Texas Oncology will offer a workshop from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.Feb. 24. at The Summit Club, 3700 Judson Road in Longview. Guests will be able to connect with others whose lives have been affected by cancer. National and regional experts will discuss wellness issues and create a dialogue around the survivorship experience. Keynote speaker will be Jennifer Jackson, RN, survivor. Dine with the Docs: Longview Regional Medical Center will offer its annual Dine with the Docs at 5:30 p.m.Feb. 27 at Hilton Garden Inn, 905 E. Hawkins Parkway in Longview. The evening will feature a heart-healthy dinner and panel discussion with some of the hospital's leading cardiology providers, including Dr. Samir Germanwala (interventional cardiology), Dr. Jonathan Greifenkamp (interventional cardiology), Dr. David Jayakar (cardiothoracic surgery), Dr. Jorge Massare (electrophysiology) and Melissa Sutton (cardiology nurse practitioner). Guests will learn about heart conditions, treatments, minimally invasive beating heart surgery and the latest cardiac procedures being performed at Longview Regional. Women's cancer survivors group: Women Survivors Supporting Survivors is for women with any type of cancer. S3 Support Group meets from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. the first Monday of each month in The Hub at Pine Tree Church of Christ, 3221 Dundee Road.
