LETTER: Rev. Griffeth helping special needs children

The Summerville Journal-Scene - 5/29/2018

To the Editor:

I would like to recognize Stallsville United Methodist Church in Summerville, who under the pastoral leadership of Rev. Robin Griffeth, is powerfully changing the lives of children; children who had been yearning to be accepted because of their struggle with mild autism, ADHD and/or other academic challenges.

For the last two school years, Rev. Griffeth and Stallsville United Methodist Church have welcomed and supported the mission of Charis Academy in embracing each child’s God given diversity through optimizing and celebrating their strengths.

Stallsville United Methodist Church has actively supported the ministry of Charis Academy through the generous use of their Hilton building. It is because of this generosity, children, who had been suffering in silence for their differences, have new life.

Thank you Rev. Griffeth and Stallsville United Methodist Church for your unfailing support, dedication, and ministry to the least of these.
