Ex-preschool teacher accused of sexually abusing 4-year-old in Orlando's Baldwin Park pleads guilty

March 26-- Mar. 26--A former preschool teacher accused of sexually abusing one of his students pleaded guilty on Monday to lewd and lascivious conduct, court records show.

Jayrico Hamilton, 26, was accused of performing sex acts on a 4-year-old boy during naptime at Bright Horizons Children's Centers in Baldwin Park in 2017.

Hamilton, who remains without bond in the Orange County Jail, will be sentenced in May.

Bright Horizons was put on probation as part of a settlement with the Department of Children and Families. Hamilton was on an abuse registry in Virginia, according to the victim's family attorney.

A lawsuit the family filed against Bright Horizons remains pending.
