He was in court for another incident, but police suspect he also molested two children

April 22-- Apr. 22--A Bellingham man who was in court for another incident on Thursday, April 18, also is suspected of molesting two young children he was familiar with on multiple occasions.

Bellingham police booked Bryan Michael Morris, 39, on suspicion of five counts of first-degree child molestation.

According to information provided to The Bellingham Herald by Lt. Claudia Murphy, Bellingham police arrested Morris on suspicion of discharging a firearm, malicious mischief and reckless endangerment on Friday, April 12.

An investigation revealed that Morris had sexually inappropriately touched the children over the past two years, who both younger than 12 years old, on multiple occasions, Murphy said.

After establishing probable cause, police contacted and arrested Morris while he was in court Thursday.
