Orlando private school teacher accused of molesting student, police say

A teacher at Victory Christian Academy in west Orlando was arrested Tuesday, accused of molesting a student at the private school, Orlando police said.
Michael Lawrence McMillian, 36, was taken into custody on charges of lewd or lascivious molestation of a child under 12, lewd or lascivious conduct, offenses against a student by an authority figure, child abuse and contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
Details of the allegations that led to McMillian’s arrest are unclear. An incident report provided by OPD was nearly entirely redacted, including when and where the alleged abuse happened.
McMillian has been fired from Victory Christian, police said.
The school did not immediately return a call for comment.
Correction: Due to incorrect information from law enforcement, Victory Christian Academy was described incorrectly. It is a private Christian school.
