Grand jury charges man with assault

Weatherford Democrat - 3/7/2017

March 06--A Parker County grand jury has indicted a man accused of tying up, threatening at knifepoint and raping a woman who visited his house.

Larry Kyle Hicks, 38, was indicted on charges of aggravated sexual assault and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.

A woman met with a deputy at the Parker County North Annex on Jan. 3 and reported that she had been held against her will, threatened and sexually assaulted that day, according to a probable cause affidavit.

The woman agreed to meet Hicks at his home near Azle that morning, court records state.

When the woman declined to have sex with him, Hicks removed her clothing, tied her to his bed and demanded her phone password at knifepoint, the woman reported.

He then took pictures of her and sent them to an acquaintance of the woman's, according to the probable cause affidavit.

Hicks then had sex with the woman, who was afraid Hicks would harm her, according to the woman's account.

The woman said Hicks later allowed her to leave the house because he knew her children had to be picked up from school.
