Man indicted on charge of sexual assault of child

March 10--A Taylor County grand jury on Thursday indicted an Abilene man suspected of sexually assaulting a child relative in 2015.

Johnny Dwight Houston Jr., also known as Johnny Dwight Houston, was indicted on one count of aggravated sexual assault of a child in the Sept. 23, 2015, incident.

According to court documents, the child, who is younger than 10, told police that the suspect forced her to perform oral sex on him while they were in bed together.

The girl said Houston pushed her head down to his private area and told her to perform the act, according to the documents. She also indicated that he pulled his pants down to allow this to happen, documents said.

Houston remained in the Taylor County Jail on a $75,000 bail bond, according to jail records.
