BRIEF: Live Oak woman charged with battery domestic violence

March 29--LIVE OAK -- The Suwannee County Sheriff's Office charged Shontovea Michell Bowman with battery domestic violence and aggravated assault on Saturday, according to a SCSO report.

The report states that Bowman, 40, intentionally struck the victim's face with an open hand three times during an argument.

The suspect then allegedly grabbed a large kitchen knife and threatened the victim, saying "I will stab you and kill you...," according to the SCSO report, which said the suspect threatened the victim several times throughout the argument.

The report states that the suspect appeared to be intoxicated due to slurred speech and the strong odor of alcohol.
