Harpersville man faces two domestic violence felonies

COLUMBIANA ? A 30-year-old Harpersville man was arrested Friday, Sept. 8, and faces two felony domestic violence charges.

Justin Ray Shockley, who lists an address off Sun Valley Road in Harpersville, was charged with domestic violence by second degree assault and domestic violence by strangulation or suffocation, according to court documents.

Shockley's warrants allege Shockley pushed down the victim, breaking her wrist, and choked or strangled her.

Bond was set at $15,000 for each offense for a total of $30,000.

A preliminary hearing is scheduled for Oct. 5 before Judge Daniel A. Crowson Jr.
