Berea man charged with 30 Class B felony sex charges set for trial

Sept. 13--A trial date has been set for a Berea man accused of raping two minor females.

Jeremy Bryant Brock, 40, of Reed Hill Road, appeared in Madison Circuit CourtSept. 7, and will stand trial on 10 counts of first-degree rape, six counts of first-degree sodomy and 14 counts incest, all Class B felonies that can be punished by 10 to 20 years in prison. Brock also faces three counts of being a second-degree persistent felony offender.

Brock was first indicted in June on one count of first-degree rape for allegedly having sex with an intoxicated 13-year-old girl. He was indicted on additional charges in July for alleged incidents involving another girl that occurred from the time she was 13 until she was 19.

Brock's wife, Wendy Leigh Brock, 43, was indicted with him on multiple charges in the second round of indictments. She was not on the Sept. 7 docket.

Jeremy Brock was arrested April 17 after one of the victims told police he threatened to kill her if she told anyone about the abuse. According to an arrest citation, the victim told police Brock had sexual intercourse with her several times since she was 13-years-old, as well as having her perform oral sex on him and anal sex at times.

Brock also faces charges of tampering with physical evidence, tampering with a witness and bribing a witness, all Class D felonies that can be punished by one to five years in prison.

After his April arrest, Brock remained in jail until Sept. 7, when jail records show he was released. Brock's trial is scheduled to begin Sept. 25 at 9 a.m. in Madison Circuit Court.

A Lancaster man charged with rape after allegedly engaging in sexual activity with a 14-year-old also has been scheduled for trial.

Jimmie Neal Jr., 47, faces charges of first-degree rape and incest, both Class B felonies.

According to a warrant, Neal engaged in the activity from April 25 to April 28, 2014.

Neal has remained in the Madison County Detention Center since his Oct. 18, 2016 arrest, according to online jail records.

Neal's trial is scheduled to begin Jan. 22, 2018 at 9 a.m. in Madison Circuit Court.

Berea couple is set to stand trial in January on charges dealing with sex offender registration.

Timothy John Anglin, 34, faces a charge of failure to comply with sex offender registration, a Class C felony that can draw a prison term of five to 10 years. Ashley Anglin, 25, is charged with complicity in failure to register as a sex offender, a Class D felony that can draw a prison term of one to five years.

Both are scheduled for trial in Madison Circuit Court on Jan. 15, 2018 at 9 a.m.
