The Purple Gala to benefit victims of domestic violence

Carolina Panorama - 9/21/2017

Please attend the 2nd Annual Purple Gala, a formal event for domestic violence awareness. The event is designed to benefit victims of domestic abuse and interpersonal violence in our community.

The Purple Gala will be held on Saturday, September 30 at The Gala by JW on Clemson Road. Guests will enjoy a cocktail hour, strolling hor d'oeuvres and desserts, speakers, spoken word, awards ceremony, historic gallery, vendors, live music, and dancing all-night-long to the live sounds by LaSell Williams and the Band along with the infamous DJ Shok (Delvon Harling).

The purple theme signifies the unmasking of complex issues that surround interpersonal violence. Guests are invited to wear purple as a reminder that it is the color is majesty, but also the color of bruises --some that never heal. Purple formalwear is encouraged, however all colors are welcome.

Tickets are on sale for $50 per person. A table for 8 is $350. Purchase tickets at: https://2ndannualpurplegala. eventbrite.com.

Advance reservations are required. Space is limited, so please reserve early.
