LEXINGTON - A Lexington man who allegedly sexually assaulted and impregnated a teenage girl was sentenced to jail and probation in Dawson County District Court last week.

According to court records, Luis Fernando Cardenas-Meza, 21, was sentenced to three days in jail and one year of probation on a child abuse charge, a Class IIIA felony. The charge was amended in a plea deal from a first-degree sexual assault, a Class II felony.
