UNLICENSED DOG, BULLHEAD CITY - Debra Leilani Couch, 52, went to the Bullhead City animal shelter Thursday to claim her three dogs. She wasn't able to pay the applicable fees, police spokeswoman Emily Fromelt said, and requested a citation with restitution. Couch was cited for having an unlicensed dog and released.

DOMESTIC VIOLENCE, BULLHEAD CITY - Michael Vern Beasley, 38, was arrested Wednesday after police were called to the 2900 block of Friendly Place for a domestic violence report. His wife reportedly told officers that he had attacked her after she tried to stop him from driving (because she thought he had been drinking). He began yelling offensive names at her, Fromelt said, and reportedly slammed her arm into a truck door, and her head against a wall while continuing to yell at her. Beasley then reportedly drove through a gate. He was booked on suspicion of assault per domestic violence, disorderly conduct per domestic violence and felony criminal damage, and was taken to the Mohave County Jail in Kingman.

THEFT REPORT/WARRANT ARREST, BULLHEAD CITY - At about 4:30 p.m. Wednesday, police were called to Western Arizona Regional Medical Center for an assault report. The victim, Charles Andrew Hubbard, 52, reported that he had been riding a bicycle when a man came up and started to question him about the bicycle. Hubbard reportedly told officers that the man accused him of stealing the bike, punched him three times and took the bike from Hubbard. Hubbard was medically cleared and arrested on an outstanding misdemeanor warrant for theft (of a different bicycle). He was taken to the Mohave County Jail in Kingman.

DRUGS/DRUG PARAPHERNALIA, BULLHEAD CITY - Michael Dale Laroe, 33, was arrested Thursday after he reportedly failed to stop for a stop sign at Clearwater Drive and Malibu Drive while riding a bicycle. When police contacted Laroe, he appreared to be nervous, Fromelt said. He reportedly had in his pockets a glass meth pipe and a small baggie containing about a half-gram of methamphetamine. Laroe was booked on suspicion of possession of dangerous drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was taken to the Mohave County Jail in Kingman.

SUSPENDED LICENSE/WARRANT ARREST, BULLHEAD CITY - Wilber Gonzales, 31, was arrested was arrested Thursday after a traffic stop at River Gardens Drive and Palo Verde Drive. He was booked on suspicion of driving with a suspended license and on an outstanding misdemeanor warrant for failure to appear. Gonzales was taken to the Mohave County Jail in Kingman. The vehicle was towed for a mandatory 30-day impound.

SHOPLIFTING, BULLHEAD CITY - Aliyah Aurora Lawrence, 18, was arrested Friday after police were called to a gas station in the 1800 block of Highway 95. It was reported that she had stolen two alcohol beverages and fled in a vehicle, Fromelt said. A store employee gave police a good description of the suspect and vehicle, including license plate information, she said. Police located and stopped the suspect vehicle, Fromelt said, and the two cans of beer were found in Lawrence's purse. She said Lawrence was extremely disrespectful, directing racial slurs toward officers. She was booked on suspicion of shoplifting and taken to the Mohave County Jail in Kingman.
