Dixon man charged with sexually abusing 13-year-old girl

DIXON ? A 23-year-old Dixon man accused of sexually abusing a 13-year-old girl is facing two felony counts of aggravated criminal sexual abuse.

Zachary Payne is accused of having sex with the girl on Oct. 1 and 2. Each count carries 3 to 7 years in prison.

Payne, who was arrested on a warrant shortly before noon Saturday, posted $1,000 of his $10,000 bond Monday and has a first appearance Nov. 16 in Lee County Court.

The Lee County Sheriff's Department is investigating.
