Residents says city of Woodburn seems to hire officers 'from the bottom of the barrel'

In regards to the 13 charges of child sex abuse, sodomy and on-line corrupting of a child against "on administrative unpaid leave" Woodburn Police Officer Daniel Kerbs: It seems he has a big problem interpreting and following the laws that he himself was hired to enforce.

I'm sure the city administration and police department did a thorough bang-up job of policing his employment application to make sure he was an outstanding and morally fine specimen of which we all could be "Woodburn Proud" of.

It's becoming a habit here locally of hiring from the bottom of the barrel for candidates to patrol our neighborhoods where we cannot tell the good guys from the bad guys.

Oh but it's not their fault, it's ours. Sound familiar? I thought so.
