BRIEF: Sheriff hosting parent meeting Saturday to discuss the arrest of Scott teacher

Feb. 10--Following the arrest of a Scott Elementary teacher on charges of molesting a student, the Vanderburgh County Sheriff's Office is holding a meeting for parents Saturday afternoon.

The meeting is at 3 p.m. at the jail and administration building at 3500 N. Harlan Ave.

"Parents will be given information regarding how best to speak to their child regarding issues of sexual abuse and will have the opportunity to have their questions answered by a Sheriff's Office detective," according to a Sheriff's Office news release.
