BRIEF: Columbia police search for suspect in domestic assault and car theft

Aug. 13--The Columbia Police department is searching for a man suspected of simple domestic assault.
The Columbia Police Department has active warrants for the arrest of Paul Allen Smith Jr. for simple domestic assault and theft of a motor vehicle.
Smith is identified as a 33-year-old black male with black hair and brown eyes. He is 6 feet 6 inches tall and weighs approximately 230 pounds.
Any person with information that may assist in this or any other investigation is encouraged to contact the Criminal Investigations Division of Columbia Police Department at (931) 560-1670.
