BRIEF: Police, medic dispatched to possible domestic violence incident involving child in West Carrollton

Sept. 30--WEST CARROLLTON -- UPDATE @ 2 p.m. (Sept. 30):

Police and a medic were sent to check on a child after a parent had tipped while holding the child during a possible domestic violence incident at an apartment on Sidneywood Road Saturday, according to West Carrollton Police Sgt. Hanks.

The child was not assaulted and was not injured, Hanks said.

FIRST REPORT:

West Carrollton police and a medic were sent to a West Carrollton apartment on Sidneywood Road Saturday night on a report of a 2-month-old infant assaulted.

A police officer was on scene when our reporter arrived, but we were unable to get any details about what happened or the condition of the child.

We've placed a call to West Carrollton Police for further information.
