Oct. 04--A Spartanburg woman faces charges after another woman accused her of attacking her with a knife, according to an incident report.

At 8:27 p.m. Wednesday, Spartanburg County deputies went to a residence on Twin Woods Drive in reference to an assault, the report stated. When they arrived, they saw EMS putting a woman into an ambulance.

When deputies spoke to the woman, she said she was in a bathroom in the residence when Ross kicked in the door and grabbed her, the report stated. The two women began to argue, she told police, and Ross grabbed a knife and attacked her with it.

The woman said she put her hands up to defend herself and fell to the floor, according to the report. Deputies noticed cuts on the woman's hands and fingers.
