The Livingston County Deputy Sheriff's Association delivered gifts to families in need across Livingston County this past holiday season as part of "Operation Christmas."

Association members also provided stuffed animals to York Central School for students in Pre-K, kindergarten and first grade. Each school district in Livingston County will also receive a bag of mixed toys to comfort a child in distress or reward a child for good behavior.

Correctional Services Deputy Kerry Ann Wood and Police Services Deputy Morganne Harrington made the deliveries.

Sheriff Thomas J. Dougherty also thanked Geneseo Wegmans for its assistance in collecting the toys.
