Letter: There is support for families suffering from mental illness

(Re: Sharing the Stories response) Faye Arcand responded to the letter from a family whose child died by suicide by commenting that "there is no support for families." I correct her. Any family with a youth or adult who has a mental illness can contact the Mental Wellness Centre at 250-493-7338 for help. This includes navigating mental health services. As president of the South Okanagan Similkameen Mental Wellness Society, I invite Mrs. Arcand to visit the centre at 118-246 Martin Street, Penticton.
