YMCA hosts Grandparents Day Champaign Family YMCA hosts Grandparents Day

The Champaign Family YMCA’s child care program held its annual Grandparents Day on Friday, March 17. Grandparents visited the facility and enjoyed activities with their young ones.

“I look forward to Grandparents Day each year and I’m pleased to see our children spend the morning with their grandparents,” said Sonya Stonerock, the Y’s child care services director. “They shared stories, songs, learning activities and crafts. This day is a great way for grandparents to develop a deeper understanding of the impact that a quality child care program has on their grandkids’ social and emotional well being.”
