3M golfing event to raise money for DeKalb County Family Service Agency

DeKALB ? The 3M Community Support Group is hosting its second annual Swing for Family Service Agency golfing event to raise money for the local non-profit.

The event will begin with a shotgun start at 1 p.m.June 3 at the Kishwaukee County Club, 901 Sycamore Road in DeKalb.

New this year will be a hole-in-one contest for a chance to win a new car. Three other hole-in-one prizes will be awarded at par-3 holes. Goodie bags also will be given out with additional prizes and gifts just for golfing.

A variety of sponsorships are available ranging from $100 to $1,000. The cost includes a round of golf, use of a golf cart and dinner. To attend the dinner only is $25.

The Family Service Agency of DeKalb County provides services to the community including the Children's Advocacy Center, Big Brothers Big Sisters, Center for Counseling and Senior Services.
