BRIEF: Tuesday program discusses air quality and health

Oct. 03--TWISP -- The Methow Conservancy will host a first Tuesday program from 7 to 8:30 p.m. today at Methow Community Center. Doors open at 6:30 p.m.

The program, "Smoke in the Air: A community conversation about air quality and health," will be presented by Dr. Raleigh Bowden and Elizabeth Gribble Walker of the Methow Valley Clean Air Project. They will discuss how to understand local air pollution and protect your health during hazardous air pollution episodes. The presentation will be followed by an audience-driven panel discussion.

The program is free and open to the public.
