Grand Jury hands down 63 indictments

Dec. 22--The Navarro County Grand Jury met for December and returned 63 indictments against 56 individuals.

The Grand Jury indicted Katrina Johnson for arson with intent to damage a habitat/place of worship.

She was first arrested Nov. 18 after a structure fire destroyed Mac's Motel Monday, Nov. 18 in Kerens.

Multiple agencies, including Corsicana Fire Rescue, Kerens VFD, Powell ESD, Chatfield VFD, Trinidad VFD, 287 R/C Fire and Rescue VFD and American Red Cross responded to the fire on Highway 31.

According to reports, the motel was inhabited by two people at the time but no injuries were reported.

--Acy Roderick, manufacture/delivery of a controlled substance PG 2 more than four grams but less than 400 grams.

--Anthony Vincent Ayala, delivery of marijuana more than 1/4 ounces but less than five pounds

--Joshua Bacle, sexual assault

--Miguel Balderas, driving while intoxicated third or more

--Christopher Ray Ballard, money laundering more than $2,500 but less than $30,000 and manufacture/delivery of a controlled substance PG 3/ PG4 400 grams or less.

--James Franklin Bowen, evading arrest or detention with a vehicle

--Brandon Marquel Cook, burglary of a vehicle with previous convictions

--Mario Demond Cook, assault family violence with previous conviction

--Daryl Watts Davis, possession of a controlled substance PG1 more than one gram but less than four grams

--Ansley Elisa Brooke Elkin, two counts of abandon endanger a child by criminal negligence

--Emily Flair Elzy, unauthorized use of a vehicle

--Tyler Darnell England, possession of a controlled substance PG1 under one gram and possession of a controlled substance PG 1 more than one gram but less than four grams

--Nathaniel Faulk, robbery

--Alfredo Christian Fernandez, possession of a controlled substance under one gram

--Carlos Omar Fernandez, driving while intoxicated third or more

--Deavius Donnell Fields, credit card or debit card abuse

--Abraham Gonzalez-Villa, assault on a family member impeding breath or circulation

--Lamarcus Desmond Green, manufacture/delivery of a controlled substance PG1 under one gram

--Antonio Harris, possession of a controlled substance PG1 under on gram

--Antonio Wade Harris, assault on a family member impeding breath or circulation

--Erika Herrera-Hernandez, two counts of injury to a child/elderly/disabled person with intent to cause bodily injury

--Jarvis Rayshad Hickmon, possession of a controlled substance PG 1 under one gram and manufacture and delivery of a controlled substance PG2 more than four grams but less than 400 grams

--Steven Duane Hicks, possession of a controlled substance PG1 under one gram

--Marcheri Renell Hughes, prohibited substance in a correctional facility

--Katrina Johnson, arson with intent to cause damage to a habitat/place of worship

--Melvin Lamond Jones, Jr. possession of a controlled substance PG1 under one gram in a drug free zone

--William Andrew Junkert, aggravated sexual assault of a child

--Melyn Diane Lott, possession of a controlled substance PG1 more than one gram but less than four grams

--John Mackenzie, possession of a controlled substance PG2 under one gram

--Vanessa Almaguer Martinez, possession of a controlled substance PG1 under one gram and tampering or fabricating physical evidence with intent to impair

--Roger Dale May, trafficking child engage in sexual conduct

--Cory Lynn Milligan, driving while intoxicated third or more

--Melissa Montes, injury to a child/elderly/disabled person causing reckless bodily injury

--Jovanni Montiel, possession of a controlled substance PG1 under one gram

--Jeremy Devontae Moore, possession of a controlled substance PG1 under one gram and manufacture and delivery of a controlled substance PG2 more than four grams but less than 400 grams.

--Dwayne Newland, possession of a controlled substance PG1 under one gram

--Keoni Kurt Ngirturong, prohibited substance in a correctional facility

--Lisa Perry, aggravated assault with a deadly weapon

--Hieu Van Phan, possession of a controlled substance PG1 under one gram

--Scott Pisalem Phillip, aggravated assault with a deadly weapon

--Chad Crawford Phillips, possession of a controlled substance PG1 more than one gram but less than four grams

--Dalton James Richards, possession of a controlled substance PG1 under one gram

--Michael Tyrone Riggins, aggravated assault with a deadly weapon
