Pittsburgh Tribune-Review - 6/13/2020

Jun. 12--Norbert Personal Care Home residents on Friday got the chance to see their families in person for the first time since March 12 due to the covid-19 pandemic.

The socially-distant get-together was held at in the driveway and parking lot of the Carrick facility and kicked off with a parade of vehicles carrying family members who honked and waved to their loved ones as the passed through. After the parade, families were invited to visit with the residents as long as they wore masks and remained six feet apart.

Before Friday, residents and their families could only communicate through phone calls and virtual visits.
