Patriot-News - 1/3/2020

Kettle Cuisine Midco, LLC, is recalling a lentils and beef soup product made for toddlers.

The “little dish Fresh Food for Kids Lentils & Beef with Vegetables for toddlers” contains egg and wheat, which are known allergens and are not listed on the product label.

According to the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Services, the product being recalled is:

7-ounce cup with a film covering with a best-buy date of Jan. 10, 2020, and an establishment number EST. 18468 inside the USDA mark of inspection.

The cups were shipped to customers in Connecticut, Maryland, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania and Washington, D.C., and sold online.

According to the U.S.D.A., the problem was discovered when a customer complained of finding noodles in the soup. There have been no reports of illness.

For more information, consumers can call Jessica Stasinos, executive assistant for Kettle Cuisine Midco at 617-409-1293.
