NJBIZ Conversations: Eleanor Kubacki

Small business owners and professionals who work with them speak often about the dearth of resources available to help with planning and day-to-day operations. Many public and private institutions are focused on larger corporations and financing can be hard to obtain for mom-and-pop shops. But the Small Business Administration has come up with a way to match big companies with Main Street businesses. Under the SBA's All Small Mentor-Protg programowners can learn the ropes from experienced government contractors. In the latest edition of NJBIZ Conversations, Editor Jeff Kanige spoke with Eleanor Kubacki, the founder and CEO of Trenton-based advertising agency EFK Group. She describes her experience in the program, in partnership with global ad giant Ogilvy. EFK was able to work with national clients, such as the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the National Science Foundation on large campaigns. Watch the interview here.
