Austin Public Health begins coronavirus vaccine preregistration for vulnerable populations

Austin American-Statesman - 1/15/2021

Preregistration begins

for COVID-19 vaccine

Austin Public Health has started preregistration for the COVID-19 vaccine, focusing on providing it for vulnerable populations and communities.

To complete the preregistration process, create an account at austintexas.gov/covid19-vaccines, answer questions and wait to be contacted to schedule an appointment.

Those who can get a vaccine through their health care provider, a pharmacy or another provider are asked to not use this method, which saves Austin Public Health’s currently limited allocation for the most vulnerable populations.

Those deemed eligible for the COVID-19 vaccination will receive an email allowing them to schedule an appointment; the preregistration does not guarantee a vaccine or appointment.

Due to high demand, you may experience technical issues and your submission may not go through. If you receive an error message, please try re-submitting after some time.
