Hollywood Casino visitors no longer need a face mask to gamble if fully vaccinated

Hollywood Casino at Penn National Race Course has eased its face mask policy.

Customers who are fully vaccinated from COVID-19 no long have to wear face masks at the casino in East Hanover Township, Dauphin County near Grantville.

The decision comes following new guidance issued this month by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, which states fully vaccinated people do not have to wear masks in most places.

The casino said the following in a statement:

“Per CDC and PA Dept. of Health guidelines, individuals who are fully vaccinated from COVID-19 no longer need to wear a mask. Those not vaccinated or partially vaccinated must continue to wear a mask, and our team members and vendors still undergo daily health screenings, including temperature checks.”

Penn National Gaming is based in Berks County. The company plans to open two more casinos in the midstate this year. Hollywood Casino York at the York Galleria Mall in Springettsbury Township, York County is expected to open in August. Hollywood Casino Morgantown, which is located along the Pennsylvania Turnpike is expected to open later this year,
