Ontario County Public Health: 41 COVID-19 cases reported Friday

HOPEWELL — Ontario County Public Health is reporting 41 community COVID-19 cases Friday.

Nine of the cases involved people under 18, health officials said.

Since the start of the pandemic, 9,240 cases have been reported; 122 people have died and 8,900 have recovered.

Ontario County remains in the High category for COVID-19 transmission, which is the highest level, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
