Ontario County Public Health: 145 COVID-19 cases, one death reported Tuesday

HOPEWELL — Ontario County Public Health is reporting 145 COVID-19 cases and one death as of Jan. 18.

Thirty-three of the cases involved children, and there were 62 new home test submissions, for a total of 2,106, health officials said.

Fifty-six people are in the hospital. There were 733 lab-reported negative cases.

Since the start of the pandemic, 17,603 COVID-19 cases and 164 deaths have been reported.
