Legacy Health offers free monkeypox vaccine clinic Saturday in Vancouver

Sep. 21—Legacy Health is offering a free monkeypox vaccination clinic from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at Legacy Medical Group Family Wellness, 1000 S.E. Tech Center Drive, Suite 120, Vancouver.
The vaccines are being offered to high-risk patients, as defined by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. This includes:
— Gay, bisexual, and other men or trans people who have sex with men, who have had more than one sexual partner in the past 14 days.
— Sex workers of any sexual orientation or gender identity.
— People who have had close contact within the past 14 days with someone with suspected or confirmed monkeypox.
— People who had close contact with others at a venue or event or within a social group in the past 14 days where a suspected or confirmed monkeypox case was identified. This includes people who received notice from a venue or event of potential exposure within the past 14 days.
