Quadjoy is a mouthstick input interface designed for use by individuals with quadriplegia and other upper extremity disabilities. This four-button mouse replacement is controlled with the mouth or chin. The mouse pointer moves in the direction corresponding to the mouthstick movement, and the speed of the pointer can be adjusted by the user. Button activation can be activated with the built-in sip-and-puff switch, a connected external switch (not included), or manually with the actual joystick buttons. Quadjoy is assembled for use on either the right or left side and the unit can be mounted to most flat surfaces. The unit includes a durable ABS plastic case with all needed cables. COMPATIBILITY: For use on IBM and compatible and Apple Macintosh computers. SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS: Windows 95, 98, 98SE, ME, 2000, XP, or Mac OS 8, 9, X; PS/2 or USB connection. OPTIONS: joystick for high-speed interactive computer games; external jacks to provide for adding external sensors, buttons or switches; OnScreen on screen keyboard program (discount when ordered with QuadJoy).
