The Tape Recorder with Latch/Timer, model 390X, is an adapted tape recorder designed for use by individuals with upper extremity disabilities. This tape recorder offers built-in options for switch activation to record or play cassette tapes. In switch mode, the user touches the external switch (not included) to play. In the latch mode, the user touches the switch and the tape recorder remains activated until the switch is touched again. In the timer mode, the timer is set for one to twenty seconds; when the switch is activated the machine plays for the designated time. POWER: Uses four C batteries..
