The VIP Adjustable Support Cane is an adjustable offset cane designed for use by individuals with visual disabilities who require ambulatory support. These canes are available with a choice of three molded ABS plastic handle configurations. The classic handle is a crook-style handle and features a flattened top for ease of grip and proper weight distribution. The modern handle is saddle shaped to allow for correct grip requiring minimal finger and hand strength. The T handle is T-shaped for proper weight distribution. Other standard features include a powder-coated aluminum shaft and a sure-grip Santoprene tip. These canes also feature a threaded insert system allows for universal length adjustment, with a choice of short length, standard length, or extra length. The threaded bottom section is made of plastic with an aluminum insert. OPTIONS: Wrist strap and cane clip. DIMENSIONS: The short length cane adjusts from 25 to 33 inches. The standard length cane adjusts from 29 to 37 inches. The extra length cane adjusts from 33 to 41 inches. Custom lengths with an adjustment range of eight inches are also available. WEIGHT: The short cane weighs 13.4 ounces, the standard cane weighs 14.4 ounces, and the extra length cane weighs 15.4 ounces. COLORS: White with a choice of a white or red lower section. WARRANTY: Guaranteed against breakage or malfunction for three years from the date of purchase.
