On-Command is a programmable infrared remote keyboard and receiver that can be used to control a computer from a distance of up to 40 feet. On-Command consists of a portable transmitter with 28 programmable keys, a receiver which plugs into the serial port of the computer via a 6-foot cable, and software for programming the keypad. Each key on the keypad can be programmed to represent up to 15 keystrokes or key combinations for IBM computers running the DOS operating system (2.1 or higher) or an unlimited number of keystrokes, key combinations, mouse clicks, and mouse moves for IBM computers running Microsoft Windows 2.0 or 3.0. When used with the Apple Macintosh, each keypad key can represent any keystroke, mouse click, or mouse movement. On-Command comes with several templates preprogrammed for popular presentation software programs. CONNECTIONS: On-Command connects to the Macintosh with a DIN 8 adapter and to the IBM with a 9-pin adapter. COMPATIBILITY: For use on the Apple Macintosh, IBM PS/2, IBM PC or compatible computers. It is compatible with all software applications, not just presentation software applications for these computer systems. DIMENSIONS: Transmitter measures 5.25 x 2.5 x .75 inches; the receiver measures 3.75 x 2.38 x 1 inch. WEIGHT: 4 ounces.
