--- "DO IT YOURSELF" ENTRY ------- PURPOSE: Aid to assist blind walker users in orienting themselves without removing their hands from the walker. A screen spring 16 1/4 inches long and 1/2 inch diameter is taped to each side of the walker with about 10 inches extending out perpendicular to the walker handgrips. As user walks the very tip of the springs drags lightly along a wall and the person receives auditory and vibratory cues as to the location of walls and doorways. Includes photograph.
