The VT2 is an eye controlled input system designed for use by individuals with upper extremity, neurological or severe physical disabilities or spinal cord injury. This unit tracks one or both eyes using dark pupil, single or binocular video tracking. It is accurate to 0.5 degree. The VT2's standard data rate is over 80 frames per second (FPS). Its typical operating distance for head motion is 13 x 6.3 x 15.8 inches. It can be used with communication software, to send email, to surf the web, to control the user’s environment, to play games or to do anything a handheld mouse can do. The VT2 is intended to be used with desktop monitors and televisions with screens 30 inches or smaller. It can connect to a PC via a USB 2.0 port. The VT2 includes the Eye Tracking SDK (software developer kit), which includes QuickKIOSK interactive entertainment software or QuickCAPTURE gaze analysis software, as well as the QuickLINK API. DIMENSIONS (WxDxH): 19.7 x 2.4 x 2.8 inches. The typical operating distance of the eyes from the display is 25.6 to 39.4 inches. POWER: The VT2 is powered through the host computer's USB port.
