--- "DO IT YOURSELF" ENTRY ------- PURPOSE: To create a texture sensory storage box for children and adults.

MATERIALS USED: Shoebox, tiny seed beads/paper fasteners, chenille sticks, buttons, swirls, sandpaper, netting, coins, embossed paper, popsicle sticks.

Tools: corrugated cardboard, glue, wax paper, exacto knife/scissors, Velcro tabs.

PREPARATION:
1. Select a box that was about three times as long as it was deep. This will approximately accommodate three texture boards in the lid.
2. Measure and cut the cardboard to allow three boards to fit with the textures facing up.
3. Place a thin sheet of paper over the textures and use a wax crayon to rub over the paper for a texture-relief.
