The SmartNav 4 AT is a hands-free mouse desinged for use by individuals with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), spinal cord injury (SCI), muscular dystrophy, or other neurological or upper extremity disabilities. This unit enables the user to control a computer with head motions or through voice clicking. Moving the head less than a quarter inch maneuvers the cursor across the entire screen. The user can left click, double click, drag, right click, and more through a dwell clicking toolbar, and enter text through an on-screen keyboard. For switch input, a click switch or a footswitch can be plugged directly into the back of the unit. The included Y Breakout Cable allows the user to plug in separate click switches for left and right clicking. The unit has an aluminum case and comes with 20 0.25-inch thread mounts for standard tripods. SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS: 500 megaHertz (MHz) processor; USB 1.1 or 2.0 port; and CD-ROM drive.
