Mounted Musical Instrument Board is designed for use by individuals with limited upper extremity strength and coordination as a result of cerebral palsy, nerve injury or traumatic brain injury. Musical instruments are mounted to a vertical surface to allow users to hit and make music. The author notes that mounting musical instruments on a vertical board can limit the users ability to see over the board. The author recommends using a lower slant board or using a base that can be clamped onto a tray or table. The top right corner makes a great sound when you slide the drumstick over it. The kids love the bell and the dog chain makes a great rattling sound.
