The Integral Adaptive Utensil Fork is an ergonomically modified fork designed for individuals with arthritis, fine motor disabilities, or limited hand dexterity. The fork’s ergonomic handle is weighted and rounded with a hollow ball at the tip to allow users to maintain a firmer grip around the silverware; elevated to make it less difficult to pick up the silverware from flat surfaces; and flattened at the bottom to prevent it from rolling out of reach. And unlike the design of a standard fork, the Integral Adaptive Utensil Fork features prongs that are slightly flatter to make it easier for the user to scrape food onto it. The Integral Adaptive Utensil Spoon and Integral Adaptive Utensil Knife are also available and sold separately (please see separate entries).
